Position Overview

Bayside Baptist Church Mother’s Day Out is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic co-teachers who love Jesus and view teaching preschoolers as a ministry opportunity. We are looking for individuals who love children and families and are passionate about creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where children can learn and grow. Our program serves children ages 6 weeks through 5 years on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Work Schedule

Tuesdays & Thursdays

8:45 a.m. – 2:20 p.m.

Responsibilities

Help manage and care for a classroom of preschool children.

Provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment.

Teach preschool curriculum and Bible lessons in an engaging way.

Plan and lead educational and fun activities throughout the day.

Encourage children socially, emotionally, spiritually, and academically.

Communicate kindly and professionally with parents and staff.

Work collaboratively with lead teachers and church staff.

Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness.

Qualifications

Love Jesus and have a heart for ministry.

Love children and enjoy working with families.

Dependable, positive, and team-oriented.

Able to manage a classroom with patience and kindness.

Experience working with preschool-aged children preferred.

Passionate about creating a welcoming and safe environment for every child.
