Bringing Hope and Help: The Hamilton County Baptist Disaster Relief Ministry

Welcome to the Disaster Relief Ministry page of the Hamilton County Baptist Association! Our network of one hundred Southern Baptist churches and missions are dedicated to serving those in need during times of disaster. From providing food and shelter to offering emotional support, our volunteers are committed to bringing hope and aid to communities in crisis. Skid Steer Training

Skid Steer training has been scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 am at The Point Church at 939 Ridgeway Avenue, Signal Mountain, TN 37377. Following the class room portion of the training and lunch, the Hands on portion will be at 8128 Mill Creek Road in Signal Mountain.


If interested, please register with Doyle Pittman at dpittman12@epbfi.com by Monday, May 13th. This is for those already credentialed for Tennessee Disaster Relief. There is no charge for the training. We should be finished by about 1:30 pm.

Recent activities:

  • The association has purchased a skid steer for use by association churches and has completed training for operators.
  • Stuart Heights has completed training sessions for volunteers.
  • Dallas Bay is designing their chainsaw trailer layout and will begin purchasing equipment.
  • April 2023 chainsaw team to Selmer, Tennessee for assistance with tornado cleanup.
  • Woodland Park has completed equipping their disaster relief unit for chainsaw and flood recovery response.
