World Changers 2019

During two weeks in July 2019, 530+ World Changers from all across the United States and North America are coming to Chattanooga!

Youth and adults are involved in ministry and construction projects at dozens of construction sites. Over the two-week period, we plan to see hundreds of presentations of the Gospel with intent to see professions of faith in Jesus!

World Changers Chattanooga 2019 is coming July 6-13 & 15-20!
This button below will give you access to the 2019 Flyer, that has all the information you need. You will need to fill it out and email it to Bobby Boutwell at bobbyrboutwell@gmail.com

We are well on our way getting ready for World Changers Chattanooga Wk 1 ( July 6 – 13) and Wk 2 (July 15 – 20).  I would like to give a shout- out to Brainerd Hills (Mike Smith Sunday School Class), First Baptist Soddy Daisy, Mountain Creek, Pleasant Grove, Spring Creek Road, Stuart Heights, The Point Church, Cross Point of East Ridge and Recobeth for already committing to partnering with us this summer.  I sure would like to add your church name to the list.

Week 1, the 7-day project, is when host churches/organizations will pick up their crews and take them to worship and lunch on Sunday, escort them to their work site for the first time and then provide lunch Monday – Friday.  Week 2, host churches/organizations provide lunch for the crews Tuesday – Friday.

I am asking you to prayerfully consider partnering with us to bring a lunch to our fabulous work crews (and homeowners) for the first week (7-day) or second week (5-day) or even both weeks!  Remember crews are usually made up of around 12 participants plus the residents.  If your church/organization is not able to provide a meal for a full week, please help with maybe a day or two.

Again this year we will be using a standardized menu.  It continues to work very well for us.  What that means is that we ask churches/organizations to serve the same meal on the same day.  For example, if Hamburgers are Tuesday, we ask your group to serve hamburgers on Tuesday.  You can pick those burgers up at McDonald’s, BK, Wendy’s, 5 Guys or even bring out a grill and cook your own.  Then you are free to bring whatever sides and desserts you would like.

As of today, the Chattanooga project will have around 55 crews to feed over the 2 weeks.  That is a lot of participants and a lot of meals.  WE NEED YOU to feed one meal, one crew for the entire week, or one crew for both weeks.  JUST KNOW THIS MINISTRY DOESN’T WORK WITHOUT YOU.

2018 was a hard summer for us.  I only had 32 wonderful churches/organizations providing meals for the project.  We could’ve used a lot more.

Once you are locked into serving meals with us, I will send you an email with all the information you will need to know about serving meals to the crews.  I will also let you know of other ways you can help with the Chattanooga project like providing meals for the coordinating staff or providing snacks for evening fellowships and Community Night.

It is a great joy to work alongside you for the cause of Christ in Chattanooga, assisting those in need and inspiring hundreds of youth to become part of the Great Commission!

Be on the lookout for project updates and pictures throughout the 2 weeks of World Changers. You will enjoy seeing what God is doing!
