TO: ALL HCBA CHURCHES
RE: RIVERBEND BOOTH TRAINING
Once again we have purchased booth space at the RiverBend Festival. We will be in the Children's Village area June 6-8,10-14.. This year we need local persons from our area churches to work the booth from 5:30 – 9:30 PM each evening.
|
|
We will have 3 activities in our booth: salvation bracelets, balloon animals and Tattoos. 10-12 persons are needed each evening to provide adequate coverage. This is a seed-planting ministry, a positive presence. We do not preach nor push for decisions – we share God’s love in a positive way.
We will provide and require training for all booth volunteers. This will be held on Tuesday, May 13, at the Baptist Bldg. from 6:30-8:30PM.
This is a wonderful opportunity for hands-on mission experience! Anyone 15 years or older is invited to participate. No shots required, no passport, no heavy luggage.
You do not have to fully staff an evening; we will be happy to combine individuals or small groups from several churches. Please spread the word at your church. Call us by May 9 to let us know how you can help. For further information, call Stan Braley 902-7928.

Who Lives in Your Neighborhood?
The International Mission Board and the North American Mission Board have partnered together to develop a web site for obtaining Ethnic Demographics and people group info. If you are interested in discovering what type of people groups are living and working in your field of ministry I recommend this site. The address is www.peoplegroups.info |
