MARK YOUR CALENDAR

JULY

It's time to elect your officers for the new year. I will be sending copies of our annual report to each director in the next week. When your officers are elected, fill out your annual report and mail to:

WMU Director
5804 Hickory Hill Dr.
Chattanooga, TN. 37416-1119

Now is the time to begin making plans for our Prayer Walk for our schools. This may be done by visiting each school in your area with hands on prayer. Another possibility is setting up stations in your church or on the grounds. Stations may be set up for each school so that people may visit and pray for each individual school. You may have your own ideas as to how you want to do this. No matter which way we choose, let's cover our schools with prayer. You may also want to plan some sort of treat or small gift for your teachers.

AUGUST

If you haven't sent in your annual report, please do soon. Directors, please check with your treasurer regarding your annual dues. If they have not been paid, you will need to do this by September 1. These may be mailed to: Patti Mallett; 1056 Hurst St; Chattanooga Tn. 37412

Greenbrier Birthing Prison ,On August 21, a group of our WMU ladies will join with a group from Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Paris, Tn. They will be traveling to Greenbrier Birthing Prison in West Virginia. This is always a very special week for these women. They will be ministering to these young mothers. Keep them in your prayers as they go that they will have safe travel and be able to show the love of Jesus to these young women. They will be returning on August 28. If you would like to send any gifts for the mothers and babies or a $10 Wal-Mart gift card so these mothers may purchase diapers or food for their infants, please call Norma King at 423-344-7056. She will pick these up from you.
