The pandemic of 2020 has created an environment none of us has experienced before. Our culture has been impacted unlike we have ever seen. Job losses are staggering. Businesses are struggling, and many are closing. Churches closed their buildings for several months. Ministries such as Vacation Bible School and summer camps were cancelled. Church leaders agonize over when and how to reengage ministries. And the issues multiply…
Dr. Bruce Chesser presently serves as President of the Tennessee Baptist Convention. He is engaged with church leaders every day. Bruce Raley has trained thousands of church leaders and continues as a mentor and counselor to many. Both have been asked the same question repeatedly, “What do we do now?”
There are no experts. Bruce and Bruce simply bring years of experience to the table. They have led First Baptist Hendersonville to understand the “power of new” over these last years which has benefited in the present times.
Just suppose we are in the present state of social distancing and dealing with the virus next spring, or even next summer. Will you be prepared to minister and go forward…or have another year of cancellations?
The “Bruce’s” and the Hamilton County Baptist Association invite you to a one-day seminar to help pastors and staff navigate through the next 12 to 18 months. They will be sharing many practical ideas that can help your church stay focused on the mission and move forward in this new culture. Bring your leaders for a time of thought-provoking discussion and planning.
