HaCoBA Care Ministries

We have some huge news?

After much prayer and deliberation from leadership and volunteers, there is now a safe plan in place to reopen our food pantry ministry that has been a staple of the area for many years. They will be open on Tuesdays and Fridays from 10:00am to 1:30pm. We know many of you had been referring people in need of food to HaCaBaCare for years before this pandemic started, and you can now do it again, just as you did before.

We do have a request for our churches as we get things opened back up. This morning, we found a freezer had stopped working over the weekend and at least 100 hams were completely ruined. These hams were going to be a huge help in HaCoBa feeding those in need over the next several weeks, and now it’s just gone. Would you be able to put the word out to your church and let them know HaCoBa needs hams. They will be taking them in this Friday, the 4th, and next Tuesday, the 8th. For details on when/where to drop off these hams, call Marvin Kirkpatrick at 423-421-2432.

Also, as they continue on in ministry, they will periodically need the following: Soup, rice , pancake mix, pasta and sauce, cereal, peanut butter, dried beans, canned fruit, peas, beans, meat, corn, potatoes, powdered milk, cornbread/muffin mix, macaroni and cheese, oatmeal, crackers, bar soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, deodorant, toothpaste/brushes, toilet paper, baby food, diapers and baby formula. You can either call Marvin for when to bring that by the HaCoBa Care center, or you can contact us about bringing it to our office: 423-267-3794 – 4062 S Access Rd 37406

Thank you so much for your prayers and your help during this time.
