Stan Braley -- Riverbend 2007 Report

Stan Braley led the volunteers in the work at Riverbend this summer.  He reports that while there were less people coming by the tent, there were lengthier and better quality conversations with them.  Seven churches participated with volunteers.

Stan is planning to meet with Chip Baker to learn what their long range plans are for the children’s section of Riverbend. The children’s area seemed to be minimally emphasized and promoted this year.   Perhaps, it is time for our ministry to turn in a different direction at Riverbend.  The Mission and Ministry Team discussed the possibility of a hospitality booth for venders or some other approach as planning takes place for next year.

We are grateful for the good support of volunteers from the churches and the many who assist each year in making salvation bracelets, which is one of the methods used in witnessing along with tattoos and balloon sculpture.
