Please mark your calendar for our NACBA chapter meeting on Thursday, June 13th from 11:30-1:30 at Abba's House. Our special guests will be Steve Thomason, CPA and Mark Neighbors, CPA from Lattimore, Black, Margan and Cain. They will be presenting some great financial information about internal controls, when to have an audit or review, handling contributions (cash and non-cash), and financial reporting (if time allows). We are blessed to have them with us for the day and honored they would come and share with us. CEU's (0.1) will be offered for those who need continuing education credits to maintain your Certified Church Administrator credentials.
The cost of the meeting is $10 and includes lunch. You can pay at the door, but you must RSVP by replying to this email no later than Thursday, June 6th.
Those who attend (up to the first 25 people to RSVP) will receive a free book - Managing God's Money, A Biblical Guide by Randy Alcorn. Feel free to invite someone from another church who hasn't attended one of our meetings before. Let them know what they are missing out on, and that we would love to have them as part of our group!
